Book Review – Black Moon Draw by Lizzy Ford

My Review

I received a copy of Black Moon Draw by Lizzy Ford in exchange for an honest review.

Naia’s fiance has recently broken up with her weeks before the wedding, and understandingly, she is very upset.  Her life as a librarian gives her the escape she needs because she is just too timid to have an adventure outside of a book.  After a bottle or two of wine one night she wakes up and finds herself a part of the book she was just reading and everything seems so real, except it can’t be and all she really wants is to go back home to her albeit pitiful life.  As battles are fought and lives are lost, the Knight of Black Moon Draw, and what she once looked at in horror is seen in a different light.  I really liked this book, fantasy with a beauty and the beast slant, with nobility and heroism and awesome characters.  It was difficult to not get sucked into this book, and I found myself up at 1 am trying to get to the end.

Award Winning author, Lizzy Ford, is back with a fantastical novel, BLACK MOON DRAW, where we find out what happens when a reader gets sucked into the novel she’s reading.

Reader beware … A woman suffering from heartbreak wishes her life would change and wakes up in BLACK MOON DRAW, an unfinished book written by her favorite author, where she must seek out the hero and help him on his mission if she is to return home.

Praise for BLACK MOON DRAW: “Lizzy Ford has done it again. She has created a story her fans are going to love and one that is different from so many others out there. The reader is transported into the book she is reading. . . I think that this is a story about believing in yourself and not letting what others say or how they treat you, stop you from that. In the end, it’s about what you believe yourself capable of and not be scared to venture out of your comfort zone. I loved it!”—Cindy, Goodreads reader
